The Story Behind Our Logo

Aletheia comes from an ancient Greek word meaning “revealed truth.” This idea guides everything we do. For us, design is not decoration, but clarity, purpose, and authenticity. Our logo was created to reflect this philosophy: we wanted something that could exist in real space, something you could see, feel, and remember.

Instead of a simple graphic symbol, we wanted an object. It had to be simple and timeless, something that naturally belongs in a home something essential, quiet, and honest. Because good design doesn’t need to stand out, it needs to feel right. At the same time, we wanted the logo to feel complete, almost like a piece of furniture or a sculptural element, able to blend into an interior while still carrying a strong identity.

To make it more complex, like our clients’ requests, we challenged ourselves to design a logo that could fit into the shape of a real piece of furniture. That’s why our logo was created to fit the form of an ancient Greek vase, as a reminder of our studio name, Aletheia.

This same philosophy guides our work we don’t simply add elements. We reveal what is already there.

That is Aletheia.
Design that feels true.
